I've read a lot of books this year, but this series has risen to the top as one of my favorites. The third installment of this series, does not waver from the strength of the first two, but rather brings down the hammer to nail it home.

Age of the end may be my favorite of the series. A Greco-Roman inspired fantasy doused in creativity, skillful writing, loads of action, and set alight with heart.

I enjoyed this series with my teenage sons (I recommend it for your older children due to descriptive violence). My sons and I had plenty of theories going into this book. Some were close, and some were dead wrong. However, Facciola wrapped this trilogy up, leaving us utterly satisfied with the outcome.

If you're looking for some gritty fantasy with light at the end of the day, check this one out. I highly recommend it.
